Wolves open training camp Sept. 21

In preparation for their 20th season of professional hockey, the Chicago Wolves will begin training camp at the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates on Sept. 21.

The Wolves will play three preseason games during their nine-day camp, all three of which will be played at home during a four-day stretch, team officials said Thursday.

The Wolves will host the Rockford IceHogs, the Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate, at the West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows at 7 p.m. Sept. 25 before the team battles the Iowa Wild at the Franklin Park Ice Arena at 7 p.m. Sept. 27. Chicago will close its camp with a contest against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena at 7 p.m. on Sept. 28.

The Wolves, who finished second in American Hockey League attendance for the 2012-13 campaign, are now accepting deposits for 2013-14 season tickets and group outings for the above dates. For more information, visit chicagowolves.com or call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.

The Chicago Wolves will host three exhibition games before they open their 20th season of professional hockey:
