Images: The Week in Pictures

  At the corner of Mill and Jefferson, sits the site of Naperville’s founder Joseph Naper’s original cabin. Carefully placed rocks mark the foundation of the log cabin Naper built in 1831 when he settled here with his family. I’ve always enjoyed finding places like this and imagining what it would have been like to stand here 182 years ago to watch Naper build his cabin.
