Immigration reform can improve nation

Immigration reform is a jobs issue as well as a social issue. We often say our nation is a nation of immigrants, but our legal system is restricting them of contributing to our economy in the best way possible. All types of different businesses are looking for employees of varied skills. Our communities need the government to pass laws to increase jobs.

Our congressmen must act now for the good of our economy, our communities and our families. We need solutions, and we need them now.

Please contact your congressmen and tell them no excuses, we need answers. Go to their offices, town hall meetings; tell them to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

This reform bill must include a reasonable visa program that addresses needs of the highly skilled and the lower-skilled workers. The reform bill must also include a reasonable pathway to citizenship so our 11 million undocumented can become citizens.

Our immigrants want to invest in our country and pay taxes just as our current citizens are doing. Republicans and Democrats in Congress must create immigration system that improves our nation.
