Twilight Shuffle in Libertyville

The Libertyville Twilight Shuffle 5K run is set for 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, with the start/finish on Newberry Avenue. More than 1,000 runners participate in the professionally chip-timed and challenging course through the picturesque east side of downtown Libertyville. Registration before Aug. 26 is $35 for adults and $25 for youths ages 9-17 and $45/$30 after. Participants must be 9 years old at the time of the race. The entry fee includes a T-shirt, goody bags and a post-race party at Mickey Finn’s where runners and their families can enjoy dinner and rehydration. There is no walk-up registration the day of the event.
