Juveniles suspected of Hanover Park burglaries

Hanover Park police on Wednesday took into custody two juveniles accused of multiple vehicle burglaries and a residential burglary between July 25 and Aug. 1. Police didn’t release the identities of the suspects because they weren’t charged as adults. Hanover Park police said investigators linked stolen property at an area pawnshop to items stolen from vehicles on the 800 block of Durham Court, the 800 block of Lexington Circle and the 700 block of Grant Circle. Property from a residential burglary on the 7500 block of Bristol Lane also was recovered. Police said the vehicles were unlocked, while the residence was entered using force. Numerous electronic items have been recovered. One juvenile was petitioned to juvenile court for residential burglary, burglary and criminal damage to property, the second for possession of stolen property. Both were released to a guardian and will appear in juvenile court in Rolling Meadows at a later date.
