Bank robber admits to heists

A man who was arrested after posting photos on Facebook wearing the same disguise he wore to rob northern Illinois banks faces up to 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to federal theft charges.

The Chicago Sun-Times said Antoine Jennings pleaded guilty to three bank robbery charges on Wednesday.

Authorities say the man covered his head with a Chicago Bulls cap and a skin-tight skull cap when he robbed bank branches in Waukegan and Zion late last year. He also posted photos on Facebook — using his real name — wearing the same items.

FBI agents matched the Facebook photos with security footage from the heists.

Court records show he managed to steal a combined $4,400 during the robberies.

He also faces up to $750,000 in fines.
