Rep. Mussman hosting foreclosure prevention seminar in Hoffman Estates

State Rep. Michelle Mussman of Schaumburg is hosting a foreclosure prevention seminar from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Hoffman Estates village hall, 1900 Hassell Road. Mussman is teaming up with the Illinois Attorney General’s office, the Illinois House Development Authority and the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation to host the event. The seminar is free and open to the public. Housing experts will be on hand to discuss ways residents can work to prevent foreclosures in their neighborhoods and to give homeowners struggling to pay their mortgages a chance to work with representatives from various banks, the attorney general’s office, the IHDA and the IDFPR.
