I was looking for an area with a clean and simple background, making these heavy lifters dominate the image. Hiding under Jennifer McClures cape, is her son Aidan, 5, as they head back to their campsite at Elgin Community Colleges Relay for Life event in June. Relay for Life events bring me to tears every time I cover them, as cancer has affected my family as well. So this little moment brought me a smile and helped lighten my heart for a few seconds.
