Free cowboy show for kids:
Cowboy Randy will entertain kids at 3 p.m. Friday in a free show at Lakefront Park, 1019 Lakeshore Drive, Round Lake Beach. Cowboy Randy brings the old-time Western experience with singing, yodeling and trick roping. Visitors should bring chairs, snacks and drinks. Take Lakeshore south from Rollins Road or Ferndale Drive east from Cedar Lake Road. In case of rain or heat, the performance will be moved to the Round Lake Civic & Cultural Center off Hook Drive west of Route 83. Call (847) 201-9032 or email rlbeachcenter@rlbeach.org.
