Bullets hit Villa Park house

Villa Park police are asking the public for help after several bullets struck a house early Tuesday morning on the village’s northeast side.

The gunfire erupted about 1 a.m. Tuesday near Ellsworth Avenue and Plymouth Street, police said Wednesday. The shooting wasn’t reported until about nine hours after it happened, authorities said.
