HanDi to host forum on legislative redistricting
HanDI (Hanover Township Democrats and Independents) will host a discussion on redistricting from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at the Poplar Creek Library, 1405 S. Park Ave., Streamwood.
Ryan Blitstein, senior adviser to the ballot initiative committee Yes for Independent Maps, will talk about reforming legislative redistricting in Illinois by putting an independent commission in charge of drawing state House and Senate boundaries.
