Rock photographer Paul Natkin speaks in Elmhurst

Photographer Paul Natkin, the subject of the exhibit “Shutter to Think: The Rock & Roll Lens of Paul Natkin,” discusses the stories behind some of his most compelling photos of legendary rock stars and performances, at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at the Elmhurst Historical Museum’s Education Center, 120 E. Park Ave., Elmhurst.

The exhibit will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. at the museum, and the Elmhurst School of Rock House Band will perform from 6 to 7 p.m. in the museum’s second floor gallery. Admission to the museum and program are free.
