Youth Recreation Grant Means New Summer Jobs at Park District

Addison Park District is pleased to announce new summer employment opportunities, thanks to an Illinois Youth Recreation Corps Grant. Addison was one of seventy-seven recreation and conservation agencies to receive this youth employment grant, awarded by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

The grant does have some guidelines that qualified candidates must meet. To be eligible for these new roles, youth between the ages of 16 - 19 years who have not been previously employed by Addison Park District are eligible. These Youth Grant job opportunities will be available for the remainder of the summer with employment ending August 31, 2013.

Candidates interested in the field of recreation and/or conservation may apply for the following positions:

• Centennial Maintenance Aide

• Facility Center Aide

• Gymnastics Aide

• Playground Leaders

• Preschool Aide

• Recreation Program Aide (Childcare)

• Parks Department Grounds Keeper

• Links & Tees Golf Facility Grounds Keeper

Applications will be accepted online only at www.addisonparks.org. The Youth Grant job listing will be posted on the Employment Opportunities page beginning Tuesday July 16, 2013.
