Woodlands Academy Invites Community To Open House

As Woodlands Academy expands its campus and plans for generations, it invites the community to an open house from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at the Academy, 760 E. Westleigh Road, Lake Forest.

Attendees will learn more about the expanded Woodlands Academy campus made possible by the astounding gift of 23 acres of the Barat property.

Topics to be covered include:

• Landscaping plans

• Preserving the natural environment of the ravines and trees

• Sensitivity to neighbors, existing buildings and the streetscape

• Expanded outdoor gathering spaces

• Planned preservation of Old Main materials

There will be the opportunity to ask questions.
