Bill Kurtis new voice of Illinois tourism ads
Veteran broadcaster Bill Kurtis will be featured in ads for Illinois tourism.
The Illinois Office of Tourism announced Monday that Kurtis is the “new voice” of Illinois tourism. He will be in a commercial and featured in other projects. Kurtis is a broadcaster, documentary host, author and producer.
Jen Hoelzle is deputy director of the state’s tourism office. She says Kurtis has an “unmistakably recognizable voice” that will be an asset to efforts to bring more tourism to Illinois.
