Images: The Week in Pictures

  A pollination work-horse, in the form of this busy bee, makes its way from flower to flower on the west side of the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. The Arboretum is a wonderful sanctuary to see nature flourish. In this photo, crouching down low and using the longer range of my zoom lens, yields a photo from the bee’s perspective. The run is held in honor of Elginite Bob Geier who passed away from Esophageal Cancer in May 2011 at the age of 52.
