New principal chosen for St. Patrick School

St. Patrick School in Wadsworth has a new principal, parish officials announced.

Elisabeth A. Dworak has been chosen to lead the school, which serves preschoolers through eighth-graders. She’ll start July 1.

Dworak has worked in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese in Milwaukee for 10 years. A Wisconsin resident, she has been teaching for 22 years.

“We are impressed with Liz’s professionalism, and she will work hard to keep St. Patrick School moving in a positive direction,” the Rev. Fred Pesek, the parish pastor, said in a news release. “We are lucky to have Liz aboard.”

Dworak will replace Marcella A. Bosnak as principal. Bosnak has led St. Patrick since 1979.

The school’s early childhood wing was named for Bosnak earlier this year.
