Get help with flood aid:

Lake County residents and business owners who suffered property damage during the April and May floods can get assistance applying for grants, loans and other federal aid Saturday at the Grant Township center near Fox Lake. Representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be at the facility from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer questions. The center is at 26725 W. Molidor Road. The deadline to register for individual assistance is July 9. To register: Call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), TTY 1-800-462-7585 for the speech- and hearing-impaired; 711-Relay or Video Relay Services (VRS), call 1-800-621-3362; Register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov; Via web-enabled phone or tablet at m.fema.gov.
