High-end dining at O'Hare international terminal

The international terminal at Chicago's O'Hare airport is getting a food and shopping makeover.

New restaurants include Big Bowl, with its Thai and Chinese menu, and celebrity chef Rick Bayless' Tortas Frontera.

A gourmet chocolatier from Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood has also set up an outlet called Vosges (vohj) Haut-Chocalat.

And there are new shops from companies like Swiss watchmaker Swatch.

The Chicago Department of Aviation announced the additions Thursday.

In the past, nearly all the terminal's dining and retail outlets were located before security, making it hard for travelers to eat or shop while waiting for flights.

Airport concessions are big business, and O'Hare has been revamping its options in recent years.
