Arrest in Zion murder

A North Chicago man is the third person charged with first-degree murder in the death of a man in an Aldi parking lot in Zion. Rashee Bell, 22, of the 1400 block of Hervey, was arrested Thursday, May 30. by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division. He is accused of causing the death of Mutassem Abdelaziz, 23, of Waukegan, in an Aldi parking lot in the 2800 block of Sheridan Road in Zion. Bell’s jail bond is set at $5 million and he’s scheduled to appear in court July 1. Jamal B. Johnson, 30, and Douglas Alexander, 21, both of Zion, have also been charged with first-degree in the death of Abdelaziz.
