Chicago woman charged with killing infant son
Police say a Chicago woman fatally stabbed her 5-month-old son before wounding herself.
Kimberlynn Bolanos, 21, was charged with one count of first-degree murder.
She’s from the Budlong Woods neighborhood on the city’s North Side.
Police spokesman Michael Sullivan says the woman killed her son, Isaac, at a motel on Thursday and then stabbed herself.
She had wounds to her abdomen and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
