Little Caesars carry-out coming to Wheeling

A carry-out only Little Caesars restaurant will open in Lynn Plaza in Wheeling, hopefully by August, said pizza restaurant owner Fax Rahman this week.

The new Little Caesars at 534B W. Dundee Road, Wheeling will fill a vacant storefront. It will be less than two miles from the Buffalo Grove Little Caesars, which Rahman also owns, and he was unsure Monday if the older location will remain in operation.

The Wheeling Village Board’s approval of the new restaurant was based on a carry-out only restriction. The board and Wheeling Plan Commission also decreed the restaurant’s van not be parked in a location for the purpose of advertising, such as the customer parking lot of the plaza. Rahman agreed, saying the van would stay parked behind the building.

Rahman has been a franchisee for 13 years in both Chicago and the suburbs. “I am looking forward to bringing a great value to the people of Wheeling,” he said.
