Libertyville d. Waukegan: In regional play at Highland Park, Libertyville got a 25-23, 25-14 sweep of Waukegan.

Zach Hauser led the way with 6 kills while Chris Akers added 4 kills. Setter Dan Tropple had 10 assists while Adam Sachs and Tony Saia each had 5 digs.

Lakes d. North Chicago: In a first-round regional match at Vernon Hills, Lakes got a 25-9, 25-14 sweep of North Chicago.

Mason Solbrig and Richard Galat led the offense with 5 kills and 4 kills respectively while setter Dalton Solbrig had 9 assists to go along with his team-leading 4 aces. Galat led the team in digs with 3.

Carmel d. Rockford Lutheran: At the Warren regional, Carmel got a 25-9, 25-10 sweep to advance.

Fremd d. Grant: At the Warren regional, Fremd got a 25-19, 25-21 win over Grant.

Frank Tokarz led the Bulldogs with 4 kills and 2 blocks in the losing effort.
