Chicago police ask for help identifying burned body

Chicago police are asking for the public’s help to identify a young woman or girl found dead and badly burned in a garbage bin.

Police say they believe the woman is between the ages of 17 and 30 with medium-length brown hair. Chicago firefighters found her body late Sunday after they extinguished a fire in an alley garbage bin on the city’s North Side. Police say the woman is 5-feet 3-inches tall and weighed 120 pounds. She was wearing a blue shirt and pink bra.

Detectives ask anyone with information to contact Chicago police.
