Antioch Rescue Squad event

Antioch Rescue Squad plans several activities to celebrate National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, May 19 to 25. ARS will be at Raymond Chevrolet on Route 173 on Thursday, May 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. performing a vehicle safety clinic in the showroom. Officials will answer questions about vehicle safety and other topics. Children will receive coloring books and adults will get a free gift for participating. ARS will host a teddy bear clinic at Grass Lake Elementary school for pre-K to second grade children on Wednesday, May 22 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Students can bring in their sick teddy bears for treatment. Volunteers will teach children the importance of good health and safety. An ambulance will also be on display for the children to see how it works and view the inside cabin. Visit antiochrescue.com.
