Antioch garden club sets plant sale
The annual Antioch Garden Club perennial plant sale is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Centennial Park pavilion, 701 Anita Ave., between Depot Street and North Avenue, Antioch. Hundreds of member-grown perennials, vegetable seedlings and houseplants from members’ gardens, as well as homemade bake sale items will be available. Proceeds help fund the purchase and maintenance of Antioch’s four perennial gardens, Arbor Day tree purchases and horticultural scholarships. Visit antiochgardenclub.org or call (847) 395-8902.
