Mundelein’s Medline launches new website

Medline Industries in Mundelein has launched a new website today, Medline.com, designed to help its health care customers find products and services tailored to their area of health care quicker and easier.

When users visit the new site for the first time, they select from eight different areas of health care to find content customized to their specific business, including hospitals, nursing homes, surgery centers, research labs, physician offices, commercial laundries, home-care/hospice, and home medical equipment providers. On subsequent visits, the website will open to the user’s selected market.

“The new medline.com makes the experience more relevant and useful to our customers’ specific area of health care,” said Sue MacInnes, Medline’s chief marketing officer. “We’re trying to make it easier and quicker for our customers to get what they need. For instance, with product searches, if a hospital customer is searching for a certain item, not every possible product match will be displayed but only the ones relevant to the hospital market.”

The new Medline.com also has other new features, including:

타 Clinical blog with current industry news written by Medline clinicians and industry leaders

타 Expanded sections that provide useful information on Medline’s products and services

타 Research library with white papers and articles on relevant industry topics

타 Direct access to Medline University, Medline’s online free education resource with more than 225 CE courses

As with the previous website, Medline.com enables customers to easily and efficiently place and check orders online. Users can also access Medline.com on most electronic platforms, including smartphones and tablets.

“The new Medline.com is all about providing valuable information to our customers that they can access easily to help them provide quality patient care,” said MacInnes.
