First Color-A-Thon a Huge Success!

Niles, IL: – Students at Aristotle Preschool and Kindergarten, part of the St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church participated in its first Color-A-Thon.

Each student colored a minimum of five coloring sheets. Every sheet completed had an attached monetary donation. The Color-A-Thon fundraiser supported Color a Smile and Little City Foundation. Students colored 137 coloring sheets!

The coloring sheets were mailed out to Color a Smile, a 401 C (3) Not for Profit organization based out of New Jersey. Color a Smile delivers coloring sheets throughout the United States monthly to nursing homes, hospitals, and individuals.

The monetary donations benefited Little City Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that engages and supports individuals, families and communities to ensure that children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities can realize their unique potential to live safely, learn continuously, explore creatively and work productively throughout their lifetimes. For over 50 years, Little City has developed innovative and personalized programs to fully assist and empower children and adults with disabilities.
