Grant Township Pageant applications due May 17

Grant Township will hold its annual pageant June 2 at Big Hollow Middle School. The age categories have changed to include ages 6-18. Categories are as follows:

타 Little Miss: ages 6-8

타 Junior Miss: ages 9-11

타 Teen Miss: ages 12-14

타 Miss: ages 15-18

Any young lady who resides within the boundaries of Grant Community High School District or Grant Township is eligible to compete for the titles. Judges are instructed to look for young women who are interested in taking on leadership roles and making a difference using teamwork, responsibility, professionalism and community service.

The judging will be done through an interview process and question-and-answer session, grading on poise/presentation, and speech recital.

The deadline for applications is 4 p.m. Friday, May 17, at the Grant Township Administration Office, no exceptions.

Applications for the June 2 pageant are available at Grant Township Administration Building; online at www.granttownshipcenter.org; or by calling pageant director Pat McKie at (847) 287-5189.
