“Jazz Before Sunrise” Breakfast and Entertainment

The Patty Turner Center (PTC) is proud to present its first-ever “Jazz Before Sunrise” morning breakfast, on Friday, June 28, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. This delicious affair will feature a menu of breakfast favorites exclusively prepared by Chef Jennifer Noone and the sweet, jazz stylings of the Rose Colella Trio. PTC Facility Manager David Shamrock says, “We are sure you will not want to miss this ‘deliciously musical' morning event. Guests are welcome.”

Chicago-based singer Rose Colella, with her smooth, alluring voice, is a veteran of quite a few of the Windy City's jazz clubs and bistros. The trio, featuring guitarist Dan Effland and bassist Joe Policastro is a splendid showcase for Collella's artistry. Colella comes by her love of song quite honestly. Her grandmother, and label namesake, Lola Bard, was a 1930s singer who recorded with Bobby Hackett and The Dixieland Jazz Band.

Registration may be done online, using Activity #413231 – Section 01.

Attendees may also sign up in person at Patty Turner Center, 375 Elm Street, in Deerfield. The registration deadline is Friday, June 21. The cost is $12 per PTC Member; $17 per Nonmember. The event is sponsored by Whitehall of Deerfield. For more information, call PTC at 847-940-4010.
