New leader named for Indiana administration agency

INDIANAPOLIS — An official from a Tennessee state agency has been picked as the new leader of Indiana’s Department of Administration.

Gov. Mike Pence’s office says he has picked Jessica Robertson as the agency’s new commissioner. She replaces Robert Wynkoop, who left in April to become managing director of Purdue University’s business and finance office.

The governor’s office says Robertson was deputy commissioner of Indiana’s administration department before becoming chief procurement officer for the Tennessee Department of General Services the past two years.

Robertson starts her new job next week.

The Department of Administration oversees state government’s purchasing, vehicle fleet, real estate activities and Government Center Campus in downtown Indianapolis.
