Three people have been charged with retail theft after stealing from at least two downtown Naperville businesses, according to police.

Jason A. Levigne, 38, of Worth was charged with aggravated assault and retail theft. Heidi M. Levigne, 38, of Worth, and Jordana M. Grabenhorst, 24, of Astoria, Ore., were charged with retail theft.

Police were summoned to the area near Main and Jefferson streets for suspicious activity around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a Naperville Police Department news release.

While police were investigating, Levigne fled the scene and there was a brief chase on foot, police said. At one point he charged at an officer, who deployed a stun gun to take him into custody, police said.
