‘March for Babies’ Sunday in Libertyville

More than 1,000 walkers will participate in the March of Dimes “March for Babies” event Sunday, April 28, in Libertyville to support research to help understand and prevent premature birth and other serious problems that threaten babies. Mundelein-based Medline Industries Inc. is the title sponsor for the “March for Babies” walk, which will be held at Old School Forest Preserve, on Saint Mary’s Road just south of Route 176, and north of Route 60, in Shelters C, D & E. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the walk begin 9 a.m. The money raised from the “March for Babies” event supports programs in Lake County that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies, and to fund research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten more than a million babies each year throughout the country. There is still time to register for the walk. For more information, visit www.marchofdimes.com/illinois/events/10286_3134383430.html.
