Social justice films will be shown at CLC
Two award-winning social justice-related documentaries, “The House I Live In” and “The Invisible War,” will be presented at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. The film showings, sponsored by the CLC Social Action Club and Social Sciences division, will take place in Room C005, the C Wing Auditorium. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at the CLC Box Office or at the door. Three-fourths of the profits of this special one-time double feature screening will be donated to the Zacharias Center in Gurnee, a local agency that provides free services to survivors of sexual abuse and assault.
