Got used clothing? Consider donating it

Donating is a great way to help others, whether it’s with food or clothing. Therefore, my family and I have personally donated much of our clothing to donation locations, and I feel that it’s an easy and great way to help others in need. Many adults and young adults come too the Goodwill near my house to help bring in boxes of donated goods. It’s really an easy process and it doesn’t take much time. Also, there are many places/events to donate and it can make a big difference in peoples lives.

Someone has personally impacted me when my family and I went to Chicago, and as we walked around I noticed some of the homeless people. Most of them were not wearing enough clothing to keep them warm; it looked as if they hadn’t got any new clothing in forever. Consequently, this made me realize how we as a society can do more to help. It should be a responsibly for people to donate anything they can to help the people in need. Many poor families need clothing but can’t afford to buy any, and children outgrow their clothes every year. We need to spread the word about donating, and slowly we all can encourage each other to donate and make a difference.
