Body found in DuPage creek still unidentified

An autopsy conducted Friday on a body found near Salt Creek in Oak Brook was inconclusive, authorities said.

DuPage County Coroner Richard Jorgenson said the autopsy did not yield an official identification or cause of death, but the investigation is still in its preliminary stages.

A person walking along York Road near the Graue Mill and Museum discovered the body about 7 a.m. Thursday floating near a wooden walkway that was flooded due to the morning storms.
