Night life events: Five courses meets six beers at Barleycorn’s
Barleycorn’s craft brew dinner
A five-course John Barleycorn meal meets a six-beer Lagunitas craft brew tasting starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23. The California-based brewing company’s featured brews are: Lagunitas India Pale Ale, Hop Stoopid Ale, Pils Czech-Style Pilsner, Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale, Censored Rich Copper Ale and Imperial Stout. Dinner includes barbecue carnitas nachos, salad, grilled coconut shrimp skewers, filet mignon and bread pudding. $40 per person. Reservations required.

Brewery tours
Get a good look at the Two Brothers brewing process with free brewery tours offered at 1 and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. Sundays. The tour lasts 45 minutes and includes three free samples at the conclusion. Afterward, try out the new pale ale Sidekick for $5 per pint or the anniversary beer, Monarch, for $5 per pint. Sidekick is now also available in cans. No reservations required for tours.

Sal’s karaoke
Sing your heart out every Thursday and Saturday at Sal’s Pizza and Pub’s karaoke nights starting at 9 p.m. Thursday drink specials include $5 High Life pitchers, $4 Captain Morgan drinks and $3.50 mystery shots. Saturday drink specials include $7 Coors Light pitchers and $4 Jack Daniels drinks. Must be 21. No cover.
