Environmental round table:

State Rep. Sam Yingling hosts an Earth Day Roundtable at 6 p.m. Monday, April 22, at the Byron Colby Barn, 1560 Jones Point Road in the Prairie Crossing community of Grayslake. In addition to addressing constituents’ concerns, Yingling plans to discuss relevant legislation he has introduced, including a bill to prevent the operation of garbage incinerators near schools and another to promote eating locally and buying Illinois-grown produce, which recently passed through the House. Yingling represents the 62nd District, which contains portions of Gages Lake, Grayslake, Hainesville, the Round Lake communities, and Wauconda.
