Paul Fichtner appointed to Board of Health

DUPAGE COUNTY—The DuPage County Health Department is pleased to announce that Paul Fichtner, a DuPage County Board member in District 1, has been appointed to the DuPage County Board of Health by County Board Chairman Dan Cronin.

“With his extensive experience in DuPage County government, Paul Fichtner will do an outstanding job of representing the interests of County residents on the Board of Health,” said Linda Kurzawa, President of the Board of Health.

Fichtner is a member of six County Board Committees and serves as chairman of the Finance Committee. He has been a County Board member since 2004 and is also active in numerous community organizations.

“I look forward to working with the Board of Health, who has done a terrific job of providing quality services to residents in an efficient and cost-effective manner,” said Fichtner.

The Board of Health is a policy-making board that oversees the operation of the DuPage County Health Department. The Board of Health meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Health Department's Central Office in Wheaton.
