Buffalo Grove man pleads guilty to sexual abuse

A Cook County judge sentenced a Buffalo Grove man to five years in prison after he admitted molesting a sleeping woman during an Arlington Heights house party last July.
Omar Ontiveros, 22, pleaded guilty to criminal sexual abuse Wednesday in Rolling Meadows.
At his bond hearing last year, prosecutors said that Ontiveros entered a bedroom where the woman was sleeping and sexually abused her. As he fled, other people asleep in the room awoke and were able to identify him to the police, prosecutors said.
Judge Ellen Mandeltort credited Ontiveros with the 261 days he has spent in custody and ordered him to pay $1,454 in fines.
