Openings for Summer Programs at Messiah Child Care in Park Ridge
Messiah Lutheran Child Care Center in Park Ridge is accepting registration for summer programs. Children ages 3-10 can experience sports, arts and crafts, stories, outdoor playing, cooking, gardening, field trips Spanish, music, chapel and much, much more! Openings are available for the pre-school programs (children 3-5) and the day camp for children who have completed kindergarten through 10 years of age. The summer program begins June 10th and runs through August 15th. If a class has filled up, a waiting list is available.
Openings are still available for the Fall 2013 school year as well. Classes begin August 26th. There are a variety of openings including our 10 week Parent/Tot class, Pre-K half day and full day classes, Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten half day and full day classes.
Messiah provides a nurturing environment where the individual, physical, emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual growth of each child is encouraged and celebrated. Messiah has a variety of programs suited for your child ages 3 to 5, including kindergarten, junior kindergarten, preschool and full day child care. Preschool is divided into classrooms for younger 3 year olds, older 3 year olds and 4 year old children. In addition, the parent/tot class is for children between the ages of 18 and 36 and centers around stories, songs, finger play, art projects and ample free time for play and interaction.
Messiah has convenient scheduling where children can attend a minimum of 2 days per week, up to 5 days per week, and either half or full days. For children who stay through lunch, Messiah provides a healthy, catered lunch approved by a registered dietitian. As always, Messiah is a peanut-free environment.

• Field Trip to Marriott Lincolnshire to see Alice in Wonderland on Friday, April 19th
• 33rd Annual Ice Cream Social with Magician Mr. Ash - Tuesday April 23rd and Wednesday, April 24th. Event begins at 6:30pm.
• Ninth Annual Family Fun Fair is fast approaching and promises to be a great time for the entire family. Please join us on Saturday, May, 11th from 11am - 2pm. There will be games, prizes, pony rides, a moonwalk, delicious food, face painting, train rides, a silent auction and unlimited fun! This is a great time to meet current families with children attending Messiah, as well as the staff.
• Fall Open House - Friday, August 23rd from 6:00pm-8:00pm
