Wassman homers twice in Fenton sweep
Hannah Wassmann enjoyed a huge day, hitting 2 homers and driving in 7 runs in each game of Fenton’s doubleheader sweep, the Bison beating Jones 14-5 and 13-3 on Wednesday. Paige Ramirez went 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI for Fenton (3-0) in Game 1.
St. Francis 13, Wilksburg (Ala.) 0:Maggie Remus (2-0) tossed a 4-hit shutout, and Ali Dittrich drove in 4 runs for the Spartans (2-0) in Orlando. Emma Davis added 2 RBI and Britney Beyers went 2-for-4 and scored 2 runs.
