Another traffic jam, courtesy of Cook Co.

I would personally like to thank the Cook County Board president and the commissioners for causing more traffic issues on Lake Street in Bloomingdale (DuPage Co.)

See, once per week we take Mom and ourselves for breakfast in DuPage (cheaper taxes), then fill up the gas tank, saving 17 cents per gallon this week, which totaled $2.75 savings this fill-up alone, but we found the gas station busier due to the increased demand of cigarettes being purchased!

If the president of the board and its commissioners are so concerned of health issues due to smoking, maybe they should give back part of their over $800 per month car allowance and give it to a cancer foundation!

It is refreshing to see so many Cook County residents protesting like us by simply saving due to creative shopping and travel patterns.

Thank you again, Crook County.
