Libertyville wins opener in Arizona

Libertyville starts trip with win: For the 11th straight year, Libertyville is in Arizona for Spring Break, soaking up the sun and the better playing conditions. The Wildcats got their trip off on the right foot with a 4-3 win over Wilson High School from Oregon. Evan Skoug, Kevin Calamari, P.J. Neumann and Jimmy Govern each had 2 hits as part of a 12-hit day for Libertyville. Matt Reed also came up with a triple. He drove in 2 runs, as did Calamari. On the mound, pitcher Nate Cote got the win.
