The rainbow trout fishing season opens Saturday, April 6, at Banana Lake in the Lakewood Forest Preserve near Wauconda. An estimated 600 pounds of trout will be released in the lake. Proceeds from the sale of the stamps help fund the stocking program. For more information, call (847) 367-6640.
