Road construction season is upon us and the TMA of Lake Cook has information from the Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways, Lake County Division of Transportation, Illinois Department of Transportation, and Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. More than 75 highway projects anticipated to be under way in 2013 were discussed recently at the agency’s annual construction meeting. Visit www.tmalakecook.org for PowerPoint summaries of projects and the 2013 construction map. Agencies contacts are also listed for further project information. Listings provide an initial snapshot of 2013 construction schedules and traffic impacts so there may be changes as the construction season moves forward. Updates will be provided on major projects.
