Endorsements: Garkisch, Zyck for Arlington Heights library board

The board of the recently updated Arlington Heights Memorial Library has two 6-year seats open, and four enthusiastic library patrons are vying for them. Joan Brody Garkisch is a grant writer running for a second time who has thoroughly studied the library’s business and attended numerous board and even committee meetings. Greg Zyck is an avid Arlington Heights volunteer who would like to bring his marketing experience to the board to help increase awareness of all that the library offers. Alex Hageli is an attorney who wants the library to maintain its traditional character as its technology evolves, and would like to see more records about library business more easily accessible. Tiana Brazzale is a community volunteer seeking to be involved in the library’s continued success. All would serve well, but with their experience and skills, Garkisch and Zyck are endorsed.
