Merryn to speak at Schaumburg volunteer awards

Erin Merryn, the Schaumburg activist who inspired the 2013 “Erin’s Law” to protect children from sexual abuse, will be the speaker for Schaumburg’s Volunteer of the Year Luncheon on Tuesday, April 16.

Merryn is an author who was named Glamour Woman of the Year 2012 and who has appeared on Oprah’s Lifeclass, CNN, the Katie Couric Show, Montel Williams and Good Morning America. The luncheon will be held at Chandler’s Banquets in Schaumburg.
