Greg Zyck a good fit for library board

I am writing to encourage Arlington Heights residents to vote for Greg Zyck for library trustee in the April 9 election. Greg is a longtime resident and family man who deeply cares about our community, especially the services many of us take advantage of, such as our great library.

Greg currently serves on the village’s Housing Commission. He has actively participated in the Ivy Hill PTA and energetically led Cub Scout Pack 468 as Cubmaster for several years. He also enjoys being involved with his three children’s activities, including volunteering to coach their basketball and baseball teams. As a devoted parent, community member, and businessman, Greg wants to make sure our tax dollars are being put to good use and spent wisely on our public library.

We are lucky to have such an outstanding facility which offers many great resources. Like Greg’s own family, many of us use the library regularly to check out books, movies, video games or browse the Internet, watch plays, attend story time, and visit the Bookmobile.

Greg wants to make sure our library continues to offer all of these services and much more. His goals include sensible, open and fiscally responsible ways to ensure that our library grows and adapts to the ever changing cyber world, is a safe place for all our kids to gather and continues to be a five star service everyone talks about.

Greg is an ideal candidate for Arlington Heights Memorial Library trustee and I hope you’ll put your trust in him on April 9 with your vote.
