Learn about "Nullification: the Righful Remedy" at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at the Algonquin Township office, 3702 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

The Fox Valley Libertarians join with the Foundation for a Free Society in presenting the award-winning film on the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, "Nullification: the Righful Remedy." The film won the Anthem Film Festival Award at Freedom Fest 2012.

The 10th Amendment to the Bill of Rights, which makes explicit the idea that the federal government is limited only to the powers granted in the Constitution, is integral to the struggles that states face today in regard to a number of issues, including the National Defense Authorization Act, Obamacare, gun control, the National ID Act, medical marijuana, and marijuana legalization.

Lee Wrights, board member of the foundation and vice chairman of the Libertarian Party, will provide a brief introduction about the film and the Foundation (F4FS) before they present the 90-minute film. Wrights will answer any questions, and there will be time for discussion, following the film. For details, visit www.fvlp.org.
